FAQ

I. Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?

Travel expenses are not included if outside of Salt Lake and Utah county, but will be provided beforehand as part of your custom quote.

II. What is included in my shoot?

Most shoots are one hour and one location, but more are available with an additional fee upon request. This is not including elopement sessions. Each shoot will include between 50-70 fully edited high resolution photos in a downloadable online gallery. Prints may be purchased on my website, or you may print them wherever you like!
*Please make sure to download your full gallery to your computer, as it will only be available for 2 weeks. If you need me to re upload your gallery after the two week period, there will be an additional fee.

III. How long does it take to receive the photos after the shoot?

I will usually deliver your full gallery within 2-3 weeks from the time of your shoot. I do have a rush option available for an additional $75 per hour of shooting time. This will have your full gallery delivered within 48 hours.

IV. Can we bring props?

Yes, absolutely! I love shooting with props and accessories, but please let me know first so we can align our vision and really get those creative juices flowing.

V. How do I prepare for a shoot?

Each and every shoot is different, but keep in mind, these memories will be preserved forever, so always put your best foot forward and be your most confident self! If you like the way you do your make up the best, then do that. However, if getting your hair and make up done is a stress relief, I highly recommend doing that. Also, details are important. Think nails, skin, hair and outfits. I highly recommend neutral nails, but making sure they are freshly manicured. For boudoir or any photos that will show feet, toes should be freshly pedicured as well. Lotion is a must! Make sure to apply before the shoot, and bring some along just in case. For hair, make sure to do what feels natural. Shoot day is not a great time to try something brand new. Also, hairspray down any fly aways, and bring some hairspray and a brush to the shoot for touch ups as needed. For make up, apply more than you normally would, as the camera will wash you out a bit. Do not forget the lips! I highly recommend lip liner, and definitely a gloss, (bring gloss or balm to shoot to re apply)
Also, bring an extra outfit! You could spill in the car, you could trip and get one dirty, it could rip, so much can happen on a shoot, always alway have a back up outfit for every single person. For kiddos, maybe bring two.
*specifically for boudoir shoots: DO NOT WEAR TIGHT OUTFITS TO THE SHOOT. As you will probably change once you arrive, make sure you were not wearing anything that will create marks on your skin, like tight jeans or sweats with scrunchy bottoms. Socks are the worst for marks on the feet. Think all things loose fitting!
